Nubra valley is a whole kit and caboodle where you can find all grades of adventure and a bunch of exploration. It includes river streams to hot springs and from remote villages to scores of old monasteries. The original name of Nubra is believed to be Ldumra which stands for valley of flowers. Sand dunes extend to around 150 kilometers and it is found between Hundar and Diskit. Two-humped bactrian camels graze in the neighbouring forests of sea buckthorn.
